Hello! Welcome to my studio.
I’m Milly, an artist who makes sketch and mixed media journals, notebooks, art prints and greeting cards under the label Ode to Paper.
My wish is that every bound book or paper treasure which leaves my studio is a joy to use and inspires an ongoing of creative activity.
Ode to Paper offerings arrive in small series. They can be found in local shops and craft markets in and around Freiburg, as well as here in my Webshop.

The paper I use in for the inner pages is of high-quality and artist-grade, available in either a heavyweight for mixed media techniques, or a lighter weight for drawing, sketching and writing.

I use binding techniques which allow each spread of the book to open completely flat, which makes drawing, writing, and painting a smooth experience.

I can cover your journal in a paper or bookcloth of your choice, whether plain, patterned or hand-painted.
